LONDON -- Two men accused of hacking to death a British solider in broad daylight on a busy London street pleaded not guilty Friday to his murder, a court said.

Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, appeared at the London's Old Bailey court where they denied murdering military drummer Lee Rigby in the London area of Woolwich on May 22.

The court said the men would appear next at the court on October 21, with their trial beginning on November 18.

Rigby died at the scene of the attack, which took place in broad daylight near an army barracks. A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as "multiple incised wounds."
