A strong earthquake struck northwest Pakistan Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said, with tremors felt across the border in neighboring India.
The quake – initially recorded at magnitude 7.8 – hit 145 miles southeast of Dalbandin, in the remote province of Balochistan.
There were multiple reports on Twitter of tremors being felt hundreds of miles across the border in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
There were no immediate reports on the extent of damage, or of casualties.
